Lenten Activities

To help us grow as a community and grow in our spiritual lives, the parish has organized the following activities. Although you can probably do spiritual reading and grow on your own, we do want to encourage you to participate and grow with others in a community, especially during Lent. If your time allows, please consider participating in one or all of these:

  • Parish Lenten Retreat – Eucharistic Miracles by Dr. Scott French, Sat, 2/17 from 10-2pm in School
  • Angels in Scripture & in the World – by Ken DelPonte, Mondays of Lent @ 7pm in Rectory
  • Christian Meditation –w/Fr Dan, Tuesdays @ 7pm via Zoom.
  • Laudato Si – Caring for our Mother Earth by caring for our Convent Garden. Wednesdays, 3-5pm @ the Convent, 1330-14th Avenue, with Rachel Leluc
  • Faith Sharing Book Club – with Alma Zamora using Beautiful Eucharist & Fit for Heaven, Wednesdays @ 7pm in the Rectory
  • Lent & Easter Choir – Join the choir during Lent & Easter.
    Rehearsals on Thurs @ 6pm in Rectory
  • Stations of the Cross  Fridays @ 7pm in the Church, with Soup
    Supper @ 6pm in the Vestibule.

March 18 – Lenten Recollection: The Gift of Final Perseverance
Saturday, 10am – 1:30pm
in School Library, led by Fr. Emmanuel Adams


March 29 – Lenten Reconciliation
Wednesday at 7pm and
30 minutes before Saturday Vigil & Sunday Masses


April 2 – Palm Sunday
Masses are at: Sat 5pm, Sun. 8:00am, 10:00am,
12pm (in Chinese)


April 6 – Holy Thursday
7:30pm – Mass of Lord’s Supper
Exposition & Adoration of Blessed Sacrament follows until 10:00pm


April 7 – Good Friday
12pm – Meditation on the Last 7 words of Christ
1:30pm – Veneration of Cross
3-4pm – Confession
7pm – Stations of the Cross


April 8 – Holy Saturday
8pm – Easter Vigil Mass
(Note, no 5pm Mass)


April 9 – Easter Sunday
Masses are at: 8:00am, 10:00am &
12pm (in Chinese)

  • Pancake breakfast after 8am & 10am Masses hosted by the Scouts
  • Easter Egg Hunt after the 10:30am Mass hosted by SAPTO
